These terms apply when you use the Eight Ends app, the web app or this website. By using them, you agree to these terms.

The service

Eight Ends helps curling clubs and their members with sign-up, leagues, schedules, scores, payments, events and messages.

Your account

Give correct information and keep it up to date. Keep your email and your devices secure. An account is for one person, and you are responsible for what is done with it.

Your club

Each club runs its own leagues, events, prices, rules, memberships and refunds. When you register for a league or buy a ticket, your agreement is with the club. Ask your club about its rules and refunds.

Payments

The club sets its prices. Stripe processes each payment for the club, and the money goes to the club. Refunds follow the club's policy.

Acceptable use

• Do not harass anyone, send spam or post illegal content, in team chat or anywhere else.
• Do not try to reach another person's account or information.
• Do not try to break, overload or copy the service.
• A club can remove a member. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Your content

Your messages and photos stay yours. You let us store them and show them to the people you shared them with, only to run the service.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise that it never stops. We can change or pause a feature.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we provide the service as it is, and we are not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing here limits the rights that consumer protection laws, including Québec's, give you.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time, in the app under Profile.

Law

The laws of Ontario and of Canada apply. The consumer protection laws of your own province also apply.
